Carriage House
The Carriage House apartment is a gorgeous 1500 sq. ft. 2nd-floor apartment on a beautiful 25-acre private estate amid acres of woods, so privacy and serenity surround you. We are located on the Hudson River in Chestertown, NY, and we have a private view of the Hudson River and Gage Mountain.
As you enter through your private entrance, you will find a warm and inviting fully furnished environment decorated with Adirondack decor. The extra large open dining/living area has an enormous stone fireplace that rises to 16-foot ceilings.
Sleeps up to six people: a king bed in the main bedroom with a walk-in closet, a spare bedroom has two twin beds, and the open loft has a trundle bed (sleeps 2).

The kitchen has a refrigerator (ice maker/water dispenser), electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and garbage disposal. Small appliances include but are not limited to: a crockpot, waffle maker, electric hand mixer, and coffee maker (k-pods and 12 cups). There are dishes, bakeware, cooking utensils, serving dishes, etc.

Time to relax in front of the 75" smart tv (internet provided via Starlink), play games, read about the Adirondacks, or read a relaxing novel by the windows or fireplace. Listen to the wood crackling, the “snip-snap-whoosh” of the roaring blaze with the golden embers from the fireplace is a comfort.

Bathroom - one large private (shower only) in the apartment; however, there is a 1/2 bath downstairs (shared with Caretakers) and a full heated bath in the workshop (shower). The workshop is adjacent to the Carriage House.

Sports Equipment? There is a heated storage area for your sports equipment and a place to work on your skis.
